What I’m doing now

Updated

This is a now page: what I’d tell a friend I hadn’t seen in a year.

Next role

I’m after a product, AI, agentic or design engineering role, and I still take on freelance work. My resume has the details, and Work with Me is the quickest way to reach me.

Building TurtleKit

I’m building TurtleKit: guardrails for AI agents that write UI code, made for people with no design background who build apps by telling an agent what they want.

Today’s AI builders already hand the agent components and a style guide, and it follows them well enough. Where it still falls down is the whole screen. Every button and field can be right and the page can still be confusing: the main action is hard to find, or an empty list leaves you with nothing to do next. The person can tell something’s off but can’t say what, so they prompt again, and again.

I haven’t seen a tool that checks for that yet, so that’s what I’m working on: a kit and a checker that ask whether a screen makes sense to the person using it, on top of whether its parts are right.
