About

ABUL KHOYER

Product Engineer, ex-Support Manager, Fraghead

I printed my first "Hello World!" over a decade ago and never stopped poking at how the web works. Today I'm a Product Engineer at Themefic, and most of my time still goes to the things I love: WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, and Cloudflare products. I build interfaces and the systems behind them, and I like work that is clean, simple, and feels right to use.

Skillset
WordPress & PHP

More than half my career.

JavaScript

TypeScript, Node.js, Bun. Same syntax, front end to backend.

Cloudflare

Whole products on the edge, effectively free to run.

Approach

I build with edge-first architecture when latency matters, and type safety across the stack to catch bugs early. Mobile-first: I start with small screens and scale up, then test across real devices and browsers.

  • Semantic, accessible HTML. It should make sense to humans and machines alike.
  • TypeScript and tRPC between frontend and backend, so a schema change surfaces as a type error instead of a surprise.
  • Serverless and edge computing for fast responses. Monorepo patterns to share code across projects.
  • Vanilla JavaScript by default. Frameworks when they earn it, not out of habit.
Passion

Outside of web development, I'm passionate about perfumes. I see perfume as a non-verbal communication tool. Each composition carries its own background, story, and mood. Over the years, I've collected hundreds of fragrances. From iconic designers to hidden niche gems. That hobby eventually grew into Fragscentric, my decant store. For me, fragrance is a quiet form of self-expression and a way to share something positive with the people around me.
