I'm a product engineer with 8+ years across software development and technical support leadership. I build web products with AI features, and my years in support shape the questions I ask before writing code.
I've worked as a WordPress developer, diagnosed customer issues, and led support teams. Today I'm a product engineer at Themefic. On the side, I created and maintain TurtlePlugins, and I take on freelance projects. I enjoy talking through a problem with someone and working out whether the answer belongs in a product feature or a support conversation.

How I Work
More than half my career has been spent on WordPress products, with PHP and JavaScript as my foundation. My focus is product thinking and low-level design: understanding what people need and defining how a system should behave. I choose platforms to fit the problem, and agents write a lot of the implementation.
Supporting a live product taught me to think about failure as well as the intended workflow. What happens when data is missing, a request fails, or someone uses a feature differently from how we expected? Those questions guide implementation, review, and testing. The tools I use support that work.

Beyond the Code
I collect fragrances, from designer classics to niche finds. I'm interested in their character and the stories behind them. That interest grew into Fragscentric, my fragrance decant business, which I started in 2022. Running it also means using the commerce system I built to handle real customer orders.
